1. What ScripLens is

• A free, non-commercial, personal educational project that presents publicly available market data and company filings in a descriptive, easy-to-read form.
• No advertising, subscriptions, paid features, donations, sponsorships, affiliate links or broker referrals. No fee or other benefit is received from any listed company, broker, adviser, fund or other market participant.
• No user accounts. The site does not handle money, securities, orders or trading accounts, and it never asks for passwords, OTPs, bank or demat details.
• Not associated with any stock broker, investment adviser, research analyst, mutual fund or any other entity registered with SEBI.

2. Not investment advice

Nothing on ScripLens is investment advice, research, a research report, a rating or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security, within the meaning of the SEBI (Investment Advisers) Regulations, 2013 and the SEBI (Research Analysts) Regulations, 2014. In particular:

• Screens, presets, scores, ratios, percentiles, charts, comparisons, "what stands out" observations, "Did you know?" facts and historical return calculations are mechanical computations on public data.
• Highlights, dots, bars and positions only show that one figure is numerically higher or lower than another. They do not mean that a security is better, worse, cheap, expensive or suitable.
• Screener presets are example filters to show how screening works. They are not stock picks, model portfolios or lists of securities to consider.
• No price targets, forecasts, future price indications or return projections are given. No content considers your financial situation, objectives, tax position or risk tolerance.
• Any decision to invest, trade or not to do so is entirely yours. Consult a SEBI-registered investment adviser before making investment decisions.

3. No SEBI registration

ScripLens and its operator are not registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) as an Investment Adviser, Research Analyst or in any other capacity, and do not provide investment advice, research, portfolio management or any other regulated service. You can check whether a person or entity is registered with SEBI on the intermediary search on sebi.gov.in.

4. Beware of impersonation

• ScripLens does not operate Telegram or WhatsApp groups, paid communities, courses or social-media channels, and it never sends stock tips, "calls", portfolios or trading signals.
• ScripLens never asks for money, never promises or guarantees returns, and never asks you to open a trading account through a link.
• Anyone claiming to represent ScripLens while doing any of the above is not connected with this site. Do not share money or personal details with them; report them to SEBI through SCORES or to the cyber crime portal (cybercrime.gov.in, helpline 1930).

5. Use of market price data

• Only end-of-day data is shown, normally published after the close of each trading day. There is no real-time, live or intraday data.
• Market data is used only to describe what has already happened, never to indicate a future price or to advise on a security.
• ScripLens follows SEBI's rules on the use of price data for education (including the circulars of 24 May 2024, 29 January 2025 and 8 May 2026). If SEBI or the exchange requires a minimum delay for a site like this, that delay will be applied.

6. Data sources, ownership and credits

• Source: NSE. End-of-day prices from NSE bhavcopy files; financials from companies' exchange filings (XBRL).
• Market data is the property of the National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. (NSE) and/or NSE Data & Analytics Ltd. It is used here for non-commercial, educational purposes with acknowledgement of the source, and it is not sold, licensed or redistributed: the site offers no data downloads, bulk exports or data feeds.
• Company financials, shareholding patterns, corporate actions and event dates come from filings that companies make with the exchange. Company names are used only to identify the filer.
• NIFTY and other index names and values belong to NSE Indices Ltd. They are shown only to identify an index and its published level. Charts use TradingView Lightweight Charts™ (© TradingView, Inc.).
• All trademarks belong to their respective owners. Their use does not imply any affiliation or endorsement.

7. Accuracy, methodology and known limitations

Data may be delayed, incomplete, out of date or wrong, and errors in source data or filings carry through to every figure computed from them. Always verify information with the exchange or the company's official disclosures before relying on it. Known limitations include:

• Prices are adjusted for splits and bonus issues only. Rights issues, buybacks, mergers and demergers are not adjusted, so returns and 52-week figures can differ from the exchange's own adjusted figures.
• Financial ratios use the latest annual or quarterly results loaded so far, which may lag the latest filing. They may mix standalone and consolidated figures where only one is available.
• A blank or "—" means the figure is not available. It never means zero.
• Market capitalisation is estimated from the latest share count in company filings and may differ from figures published elsewhere.
• Sectors come from index membership, so many smaller companies have no sector shown.

8. Scores, models and historical figures

• The Piotroski F-score and Altman Z''-score are published academic models. They are reproduced mechanically for learning. Their bands and zone names belong to the models' authors and are not a judgement by ScripLens. The models have known limitations (for example, Altman Z'' does not suit banks and financial companies).
• Historical returns, CAGR, drawdowns, volatility, beta, correlations, seasonality and "what if" calculations use past closing prices. Unless stated, they exclude taxes, brokerage, charges and slippage.
• Past performance does not indicate or guarantee future results. A pattern that appeared in the past may not repeat.

9. Risks of investing

Investments in the securities market are subject to market risks. Read all related documents carefully before investing. Prices can fall as well as rise and you may lose some or all of your capital. Small, thinly traded and SME securities can be especially volatile and hard to sell. Derivatives carry additional risks and are not covered by this site.

10. No offer or solicitation

Nothing on ScripLens is an offer, invitation or solicitation to buy, sell or subscribe to any security or financial product in any jurisdiction. The site is intended for users in India and is not directed at any person in a jurisdiction where such information would be restricted.

11. No warranty and limitation of liability

ScripLens is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, timeliness, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScripLens and its operator are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage, including trading or investment losses, arising from the use of, or reliance on, the site or its content.

12. No affiliation

ScripLens is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE), NSE Indices, BSE Ltd., SEBI, any listed company or any market intermediary. Exchange and company names are used only to identify the source of data.

Links to exchange filings, regulators and other websites are provided for convenience and verification. ScripLens does not control and is not responsible for their content.
