Past SIP calculator
What would a fixed amount invested every month have become? Choose the monthly amount and how many years back. For every NSE-listed company you see the money put in, what it was worth on the last day and the yearly rate, and you can open any company to see the purchases drawn out. Each purchase is made on the first trading day of the month, at the closing price adjusted for splits and bonus issues. It describes the past; it does not say what a stock will do.
Reading the results
A SIP buys more shares when the price is low and fewer when it is high, so its average cost is not the average of the start and end prices. The yearly rate (XIRR) accounts for every instalment going in on a different day, which is why it differs from the simple change in value. The chart of start months shows how much a result depends on when the SIP began.
For a single lump sum over the same years see Past value; to test a quoted return, use the claim checker; for the basics, see charts and returns.
Educational tool only: not investment advice, research or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security. Past performance does not indicate future results. Figures use end-of-day prices adjusted for splits and bonus issues, exclude dividends, charges and tax, and cover only companies listed today, so the picture looks better than the full history of all companies.
